With a Community Movie Confirmed Let’s Revisit Some of Our Favorite Episodes

Community movie fans rejoiced in Sept. 2022 when Joel McHale confirmed the long-awaited film was in the works. Fans had dreamed of “six seasons and a movie” for seven years since Season 6 aired.

Filming for the movie will begin in June 2023, McHale confirmed during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The actor remained tight-lipped about details, but jokingly mentioned that Ken Jeong will be in the cast. Most of the original cast, including McHale, Gillian Jacobs, and Alison Brie, will return. However, Donald Glover, Chevy Chase, and Yvette Nicole Brown are missing from the cast list. Creator Don Harmon didn’t rule out their potential inclusion.

The release date and plot are currently unknown, but the movie will premiere on Peacock. Watch Joel’s announcement below
